Excerpt: ... APPENDIX TO THE BISHOPS ADDRESS CONSTITUTION, WOMAN'S AUXILAKY. Article I. This Society shall be called " The Cathedral Branch of the Woman's Auxiliary to the Board of Missions." II. The objects of this Society shall be: 1. To awaken interest in and give information concerning the Missionary work of the Church in its threefold branches, Diocesan, Domestic and Foreign. 2. To show to the Missionaries in the field, that there are those at home who pray for and sympathize with them and are ready to help them with their means and work. III. Any woman in the Cathedral congregation may become a member of this Society by enrolling her name upon the list of members and paying a monthly subscrip tion of from ten cents to one dollar. Many "littles" make one "great," so that small sums paid regularly are specially solicited. IV. Each member is urged to use daily the accompanying prayer for Missions and Missionaries. V, The officers of the Society shall be: 1. A President, who shall be the Dean of the Cathedral., 2. A Vice-President. 3. A Treasurer. 4. A Secretary. 5. An Assistant Secretary. 6. A Board of Nine Managers, to be appointed by the President. VI. All vacancies shall be filled by the President, or, in his absence, by the VicePresident. VII. The Annual Meeting shall be held in the Chapter room of the Cathedral immediately after Morning Prayer on the first Monday in Advent. Monthly meetings shall be held on the first Monday of each month, after Morning Prayer, at which time the order of business shall be (1), Prayers; (2), Calling of the roll; (3), Report of the Board of Managers; (4), Paying of monthly dues by the members; (5), Reading of letters and missionary news; (6), Discussion of ways and means, and miscellaneous business.
